Setelah versi gullwing (pintu terbuka ke atas), Mercedes-Benz akan merilis SLS AMG versi roadster atau atap terbuka. Karakter mobil sport satu itu mirip dengan SLS AMG gullwing yakni mesin kapasitas 6.208 cc DOHC 32 valve V8.
